Featuring the work of young Latino artists, this exhibition explores a variety of themes including the connections between friends and families and their neighborhoods. Photography, painting, installation, sculpture, and video illustrate the dreams, memories, celebrations, and everyday acts of people in their native or adopted communities. Despite life in the digital age, these relationships remain central to the creation of strong social and cultural bonds. El Museo del Barrio is pleased to honor the ideas that bind neighbors, friends, and families.

Featuring the work of Elia AlbaFirelei Baez, Priscila de Carvalho, Darlene Charneco, Alexis Duque, Las Hermanas Iglesias, Dulce Pinzón, and Jason Villegas.

An opening reception and discussion will take place Thursday, September 23rd at 6:00 pm - Free and open to the public.
