Since her spoken-word debut at the famed Nuyorican Poet's Cafe in 1996, Caridad de la Luz "La Bruja" has appeared on HBO's "Russell Simmons Def Poetry Jam" and continues to shine as a celebrated activist, recording artist, and writer, most recently known for starring in the musical "Boogie Rican Blvd."
